I found this little opossum at a friend’s house down the street and it reminded me how unfair their reputation is. Most people see an opossum and assume the worst, but they are not out here causing problems. They are quiet, useful, and honestly kind of fascinating. North America’s only marsupial, famous for “playing possum,” and built for surviving the night, not picking fights.
