I use Tums after kidding but it isnt the best to give just by itself because it is lacking in the other minerals that will help absorption. I mix about 3 or 4 crushed tums with molasses and they eat it well. I only give this before and after kidding.

Paul. Jan 29, 2009. #2. Tums isn't really necessary but it does help with the shell growth. The downside is it clouds the water rather easily although no harm is done in the process. It just takes hours for it to clear out. I dose Tums daily and use flavored ones. Unflavored ones are ignored.

Never used tums but oxycodone is 80-90% efficient orally, so there's not much room for improvement as far as the drug making it into your blood. However you can increase the duration/power a ton by using the enzyme inhibitiors.

But yes you should be fine as long as the dose you're taking isn't too large for your tolerance. I've always found a slightly enhanced effect with my Methadone dose when I take antacids prior to dosing.
