May 30, 2022 · I've given it a shot on my phone back when they were offering a 6 month free usage for Galaxy devices. Its really not optimized for mobile tbh. CSP is feature-rich, but if you put that much in a tiny phone screen it just doesnt work. Works much like the pc version on a Tab though, especially if set to Landscape mode.

Yep. They’ve managed to make CSP a budget TVPaint. If someone gave me TVPaint, I’d definitely do pencil tests and storyboarding and planning stuff there. I would want Toonboom’s vector tools for planning too though. But CSP is great for making the finished cels (right before being imported into AfterEffects for compositing).

Dec 1, 2022 · If you aren't doing animation or needing multiple pages for book binding like a Comic book or Manga, which the page system is set up for, then you aren't going to need EX. Pro is only $50 whereas EX is $220. There are a few tools like 3D to Lines, but unless you heavily rely on 3D models for backgrounds and such, Pro is more than enough.

In a nutshell: If you just want to illustrate, then PRO is enough. If you want to draw comics, PRO is still good enough and you can get EX if you want the extra convenience.

May 1, 2019 · Imo the biggest pro of CSP EX is the page manager, which basically means you can see all the pages of the chapter you're working on. It doesn't sound like much but it's a real game changer if you work on lengthy chapters for comics. But if you're going to draw webtoon casually and don't mind not having a page manager, PRO works well enough.

Aug 22, 2022 · It has default brushes like Photoshop, though I'm not sure if they're copies. Unfortunately, CSP only lets its users download from its site on browser or on a section in its launcher, and both cases need the user to be logged in to download. At least as far as I know.
