Jul 31, 2015 · This showed as EXPIRED so I clicked REMOVE FROM LIBRARY and immediately saw "Adobe Digital Editions has stopped working" - as I did with Version 2. As Windows 8 is nearly 3 years old, surely Adobe should support this, even if it doesn't yet support Windows 10?

Mar 29, 2023 · I have recently installed adobe digital editions onto a windows 10 laptop. It worked fine initially but now it stays as a minimised thumbnail on the taskbar and will not open. It thinks it is open - it flashes and if I right click it gives me the option to close the window. I have run the compability troubleshooter but it has not helped.

Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.10 not responding in Windows 10
Jan 9, 2019 · Having issues downloading ebooks to ADE from library. Updated ADE to 4.5.10 on Windows 10. Renamed My Digital Editions folder to OLD and created a new My Digital Editons folder. Deleted previous downloads. ADE continually fails with "not responding".

Mar 14, 2017 · Just in case go back to the main 'My Digital Editions' folder and copy your eBook (.epub) somewhere as a backup or add it to Calibre or your eReader or whatever you want now. Reopen ADE and it should work now, and your books and book history will be back, except you won't have your last eBook download in ADE unfortunately.
