Fellowships - Harry Ransom Center
Sep 24, 2024 · One– to Two–Month Fellowships — $3,500 PER MONTH. One– to two–month fellowships are available for graduate students, current and former academic faculty at any level of career, and independent researchers such as journalists and artists, whose projects require extensive use of the Ransom Center’s collections. Travel Stipends — $2,000.

How to research at the Ransom Center. The Reading Room is open Monday through Saturday, 9am–5pm. Paging of materials is limited, and available from 9am to 4pm. Submit Fellowship Application. Application materials for 2025-2026 research fellowships must be submitted through this page. The submission deadline is Monday, November 4, 2024, 5 PM PST. Due to the volume of applications received, application materials cannot be revised once submitted, and resubmitted materials cannot be accepted.

About: Harry Ransom Center
The Humanities Research Center moved to its current location on the corner on 21st and Guadalupe streets in 1972. Although Ransom remained closely involved with the Center's acquisitions until his death in 1976, he served officially as the Center's director for only three years (1958–1961).
Internships - Harry Ransom Center
Undergraduate. The Ransom Center supports University of Texas at Austin undergraduates through internships designed to provide experiences in the nature and operation of an internationally recognized humanities research library and museum. We recruit potential interns directly and through partnerships with academic programs on campus.
