In a hearing that lasted almost five hours on Friday afternoon, Colorado lawmakers from both the House and Senate had countless questions for Xcel Energy about their Public Safety Power Shutoffs.

Lawmakers and Xcel Energy officials came face-to-face Friday as testimony was heard from people impacted by recent power shutoffs across Colorado.

Xcel Energy has opened a 45,000-square-foot service center in Bushland that will house about 70 employees and consolidate multiple operations departments.
