WISCONSIN (WAOW) -- Governor Tony Evers signed an executive order Thursday, declaring an energy emergency in the state. According to a release, the order was signed "due to persistent challenges caused by severe regional winter weather and its impact on the distribution of residential heating fuel, including heating oil and propane."
