The first move made by the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency was bringing in Trendon Watford on a 2-year $5.3 million deal. Watford, a close friend of Sixers star Tyrese Maxey, is a versatile forward who can do so many different things on the floor and can move the Sixers in the right direction in the right role.

Watford, who officially signed with the Sixers Wednesday night, said Maxey and coach Nick Nurse were among those who recruited him to team.

Trendon Watford is not just excited to be on the Sixers, but also to finally be teammates with one of his closest friends.
