MOSCOW (AP) — U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin said they will speak by phone Thursday, their sixth publicly disclosed chat since Trump returned to the White House this year. Trump said in a social media post the call will take place at 10 a.m. EDT. Neither leader offered any immediate details on the topic.

President Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, in a call the Kremlin said lasted nearly an hour.

"You know, Biden emptied out our whole country giving them weapons and we have to make sure that we have enough for ourselves," Trump added after his initial denial.

The United States will place a lower-than-promised 20% tariff on many Vietnamese exports, Donald Trump said on Wednesday, cooling tensions with its tenth-biggest trading partner days before the U.S. president could raise levies on most imports.

Trump said the U.S. will impose a 20% tariff on Vietnamese exports to the U.S. Goods transshipped through Vietnam will get 40%.
