About a hundred people gathered at Peace Park to protest against President Donald Trump’s administration as part of the “Good Trouble Lives On” demonstrations across the country Thursday, July 17.

Attendees protested across Utah state, joining hundreds of thousands nationwide, in demonstrations meant to remember civil rights leader John Lewis and protest recent legislation.

The gatherings are a response to "the most brazen rollback of civil rights in generations" from the Trump administration, according to the Good Trouble Lives On website.
