Those “Underfrogs” from TCU are now outright women's Big 12 champions. The team that won only one conference game two seasons ago and last year needed open tryouts to fill roster spots after a series of injuries clinched the title Sunday night.

The victory over the Bears cements one of the fastest turnarounds in college sports. Two years ago, TCU was just 1-17 in the Big 12, but now the No. 10 Horned Frogs will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Big 12 Tournament.

Sedona Prince led the way for TCU with 16 points and 19 rebounds while Hailey Van Lith scored 14 points. It was another strong performance for Van Lith, who is in her first season with TCU after laying at Louisville and LSU. After the win, TCU used three words to describe Van Lith.
