MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami finalized the hiring of Minnesota’s Corey Hetherman as its new defensive coordinator on Sunday.

The Gophers are expected to promote safeties coach Danny Collins to defensive play-caller and co-defensive coordinator.
