Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark left Tuesday night’s game in the final minute holding back tears after grabbing at her leg — an apparent injury that would be her third this season.

On the NBA side, Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown made an appearance pregame during the Sun’s block party on Canal St. During the game, he sat courtside along with Celtics teammate Georges Niang and a pair of Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox players.
Last time the Connecticut Sun played in Boston, Stephanie White led them to victory. On Tuesday, she returns as coach of the Indiana Fever.

Caitlin Clark’s injury will keep her out of this weekend’s WNBA All-Star festivities in Indianapolis. The Fever star announced on Thursday that she won’t play in the 2025 All-Star Game or partake in the 3-point contest due to the groin injury she suffered on Tuesday against the Sun in Boston.
