It was a long and painful crash back down to reality for the New England Patriots in Thursday’s 24-3 loss to the New York Jets. A couple of weeks ago, some fans wondered if the Patriots could make a playoff run after upsetting the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Patriots will play their only primetime game of the season on Thursday night when they pay a visit to the New York Jets.

From a matchup standpoint, however, Andrews’ play will be paramount. All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams is the lone game-wrecker left on the Jets defensive front. If the Pats can block him up on early downs, they can control the game.
