In what’s turning into a bad week for gamers, the Xbox Live network is down – just a day after the PlayStation network suffered a prolonged outage. Xbox users are widely reporting problems accessing the Live service, preventing them from playing certain games and accessing online matchmaking.

Xbox Live features are down with a 'major outage' just a day after PlayStation Network had similar issues. Players are currently experiencing problems such as not being able to log in, be able to play games online because of this or stream titles.

The Xbox Live network is down, with Xbox users flooding onto social media to report that they are having troubling with their accounts. On its ‘Xbox Status’ page, Xbox makers Microsoft have confirmed major outages in the following areas: account and profile; friends and social activity; and cloud gaming and remote play.

There has been a crash of the Xbox servers. Players are having problems logging in, launching games, and joining friends.
