Amazon's Big Deals Prime Day is set to take place next week, but you don't have to wait for the huge sale event to save money on a variety of gaming items. The online giant is already offering some great discounts on Xbox, PlayStation and PC games and accessories.

That's why its usually worth holding off until one of the big sales periods, such as Black Friday or next week's Prime Big Deal Days at Amazon. Xbox Wireless Controllers are generally a lot cheaper around then. In fact, as a bit of a bonus, Amazon has heavily discounted them already as part of the build up.

The weekend is here and there's no sign that Amazon is slowing down in the buildup to its Prime Big Deal Days sale on October 8 – 9. From what I've seen so far this two-day sale is going to be the second Prime Day in all but name with all early offers currently available at the retailer.

Amazon is offering a huge price drop on a ‘high-end’ 4K smart TV ahead of the Prime Day sale. The Amazon Fire Omni QLED 4K UHD smart TV has been reduced to £379.99 for the 50” model, a huge £270 off the usual £649.
