A year and a half after it opened, Center City's new Barnes & Noble is doing more sales with less space than the old Rittenhouse Square location.

The build-out is projected to cost $475,000, according to city documents. Barnes & Noble’s expansion plans this year mark its largest in 15 years, CEO James Daunt told Publishers Weekly earlier this year.
