Coming into the month with five members of the class, the Crimson Tide landed 15 commitments, eight of which came in the final nine days of the month. As of June 30, Alabama has the No. 8 recruiting class nationally per 247Sports' composite rankings.

Kalen DeBoer and his Alabama football staff have been recruiting up to the Crimson Tide standard in recent days. UA’s 2026 class of commitments has flown up the national rankings, currently sitting fifth in the nation according to 247Sports’ composite ratings.

Cabell is a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports. He is the #1,046 player in the 2026 recruiting class, the #165 WR and the #37 player in the state of Tennessee. Cabell currently attends CPA High School in Nashville, TN. He does have an offer from Tennessee, but Alabama was the right fit.

Alabama football recruiting spending increased by 82.2% in fiscal year 2024, the first with Kalen DeBoer as head coach. While Alabama's spending is among the highest nationally, some coaches emphasize responsible spending and prioritizing relationships in recruiting.

Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati has become a pipeline for Alabama football, with multiple players committing to the Crimson Tide. Kelley chose Alabama due to its strong culture and development opportunities, citing Calhoun's positive experience after transferring from Utah.
