A multi-car collision just west of Willow Creek on state Route 299 on Monday sent several people to the hospital — including four children, one with a broken leg and another with a fractured spine.

Northbrook police said the Willow Festival shopping center has been closed indefinitely because of a vehicle fire Thursday.

A man with a warrant out of Red Willow County was arrested on Monday with suspected methamphetamine, according to police.
