A shooting on Trailwood Road in southwest Raleigh has been linked to the other shootings, including several on I-40 during morning rush hour.

No injuries were reported after a moving car was struck by gunfire on Trailwood Drive near Centennial Campus this morning.

Estella Patterson, Raleigh police chief, announced Thursday afternoon that two people have been detained in the case.
