The Kansas City Royals acquired Adam Frazier from the Pittsburgh Pirates in hopes of boosting their offense as the postseason race heats up in the second half.

In desperate need of help at second base as they try to fight their way back into the American League wild-card race, the Kansas City Royals are acquiring veteran infielder Adam Frazier.

According to MLB.com's Alex Stumpf, the Pirates are sending Adam Frazier to the Royals for Cam Devanney. Frazier is a 33-year old MLB veteran. He has spent 10 years in the big leagues and is a career .263 hitter. It's a return to the Royals for Frazier, who played there in 2024.
