Liam Payne's friend Roger Nores has sued Liam Payne's father Geoff for defamation. In a complaint filed on Wednesday, Jan. 16, Nores claims he "did not have a legal duty to Liam" and that his friendship with the musician was misrepresented to an Argentine prosecutor.

Roger Nores has filed an £8 million lawsuit against Liam Payne's father, pledging to donate the proceeds to the late singer's son, Bear.

"Geoff needs to backtrack on his sworn statement as he very well knows I wasn't Liam's nurse or care taker," Nores tells Page Six.
