Beyonce’s Christmas halftime show is the first of its kind for the NFL and Netflix. It was medley of songs from Cowboy Carter, her Grammy-nominated album and the first time the super start has performed the album.

Chris Columbus, who helmed the Christmas classic and most recently produced ‘Nosferatu,’ also spoke to THR about how a “bizarre” meeting with Chevy Chase led him to the film in the first place and why he decided to cast Macaulay Culkin over 300 child actors.

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter took the stage at NRG Stadium on Christmas Day performing the halftime show at the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game. The 32-time Grammy-winning artist began the performance by singing "16 Carriages" while riding a white horse into the stadium.

On Christmas Day, the Houston Texans will wear their "H-Town Blue" look against the Baltimore Ravens, who will counter with a white-on-black combination. In the earlier game, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs will keep it traditional. Each team playing on the holiday will sport a candy cane uniform patch.
