Google is expanding its chat search feature to the Gemini app on Android, following its recent launch on web and iOS platforms.

A convenient update is making its way to Android users of the Gemini app. Google is now rolling out the ability to search within your chats in the Gemini app for Android. This handy feature was already available for users on the web and iOS versions of the app. So, its arrival on Android brings a welcome level of consistency across platforms.

Google is rolling out a new swipe gesture to launch Gemini in full-screen mode right from the overlay at the bottom of the screen.
