Officers responded to the area of Saint Anthony Avenue and Aldine Street around 5:15 p.m. on a report that a pedestrian had been hit.

SAN JOSE — A driver hit and killed a pedestrian early Friday morning in San Jose, police said. The collision happened around 1:40 a.m. near the intersection of West San Carlos and McEvoy streets, San Jose police Officer Tanya Hernandez said in a news release.

Vehicle crashed into a building on Peachtree St NE in Atlanta after driver had a medical emergency and died en route to hospital.

Channel 13 crews are working to get more information about a fatal road rage incident on the 215 freeway in Henderson on Friday morning.

The suspected hit-and-run crash occurred about 5:15 p.m. near the intersection of St. Anthony Avenue and Aldine Street, police said. The victim, a woman in her 30s, was taken by emergency responders to a hospital and died there, according to police. Her identity has yet to be released.

Police took Elijah E. Johnson into custody after he struggled with them, but the other ATV rider fled, officials said. Johnson, 28, of Atlantic City, is charged with assault, resisting arrest and criminal mischief. Police didn’t immediately offer a description of the second ATV rider.
