B’s to open on the road in Washington on October 8 and then return for home opener against Chicago the next night.

Charlie Coyle, who was traded to the Blue Jackets this summer after Boston dealt him to Colorado at the deadline, will come to Boston on Feb. 26. Brandon Carlo, will return to TD Garden as a Maple Leaf for the first time on Nov. 11.
