One person is dead and two are injured following a two-vehicle crash in Blount County early Sunday morning, according to the Blountsville Fire and Rescue Department. At around 12:09 a.m., BFRD was requested as mutual aid for a vehicle collision with entrapment and both vehicles on fire.

BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC) - One person was killed and two others were injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Blountsville Sunday morning. According to the Blountsville Fire and Rescue Department, authorities were requested as mutual aid for a vehicle crash involving a fire and entrapment in the Summit Fire Department territory.

One person was airlifted and a second person was taken for treatment by ambulance, according to Blountsville Fire and Rescue. The fire department said a third person died at the s
