Ange Postecoglou has confirmed Ben Davies has suffered had a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury, as the defensive crisis at Tottenham deepens. Davies returned to training last week and Postecoglou said he hoped the left-sided defender could return against Wolves on December 29.

The Spurs head-coach has given an update on Radu Dragusin after the defender was substituted in the closing stages of the 1-0 loss against Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day.

And the Tottenham boss has suggested that Dragusin will need assessing after coming down with an ankle problem. "He was a bit sore," explained the Aussie in his post-match press conference. "He hurt his ankle and said he couldn’t continue so we'll just have to wait and see."
