A Washington state woman has been ordered to be held without bail in connection with the death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Vermont.

Police are looking for a person believed to have purchased the handguns used by two people involved in the shooting death of U.S. Border Patrol agent David "Chris" Maland earlier this month in northern Vermont.

Michelle Zajko, 32, supplied the gun that killed US Border Patrol agent David Maland last week -- and may be tied to two other homicides in California and Pennsylvania, federal authorities said.

The recent murder of an 82-year-old Vallejo man may be connected to the murder of a border patrol agent in Vermont and a double homicide in Pennsylvania.

At a hearing and in court filings, a federal prosecutor in Vermont cited connections between the defendant, Teresa Youngblut, and people linked to other murder investigations.
