LAHORE (Web Desk) - There will be no official ICC captain's meet or photoshoot ahead of Champions Trophy 2025. The event has traditionally taken place in the host country of an ICC tournament, but it will not be part of the build-up to the Champions Trophy in Pakistan, the first ICC tournament in the country since 1996.

There is no need for India skipper Rohit Sharma to travel to Pakistan for Champions Trophy as ICC and PCB have cancelled the opening ceremony or captains photoshoot.

The PCB and ICC are also finalizing details for the captains' press conferences and photo shoots, which are expected to be held in Lahore on February 16, just ahead of the tournament's start.

There will be no captains’ photoshoot or conference in Pakistan before the ICC Champions Trophy, a source in the host cricket board told on Thursday, ending the possibility of India skipper travelling to the country for any pre-tournament engagements.
