The Padres found themselves in a familiar place Sunday after a 2-1 loss to the Phillies. They had not gained ground. They had not lost any.

While there aren't a ton of great options, Jim Bowden, during an appearance on Foul Territory, brought up how the Padres are in the market for a catcher, and specifically, are hoping to pry Sean Murphy from the Atlanta Braves at the deadline.
