Josh Jobe played in the Seattle Seahawks’ previous three games as a practice-squad elevation. If the Seahawks wanted the former Alabama cornerback to play against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Seattle would have to sign Jobe to its 53-man active roster.

We often hear about how the NFL is a “next man up” league, and we are reminded of this fact routinely.
