A gas line rupture caused by contractor work has forced the closure of South Terminal Road near Terminal A at George Bush Intercontinental Airport Wednesday morning, according to airport officials. The South Terminal Road near Terminal A has closed due to a gas line break at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The Bush Airport’s terminal lobbies are used for check-in, TSA security and baggage claim. These operations for Terminal B flights will be redirected to Terminal C, according to the Houston Airport System.

Airport officials said they would monitor weather conditions throughout the day Tuesday to decide if the airports will resume operations Wednesday.
