Four overflow cold weather shelters are open across Denver and the city will keep them open through at least 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to Denver’s Department of Housing Stability.

The arctic blast has arrived in Denver with moderate snow and frigid temperatures taking over. The dangerous conditions are also in place across Colorado.

Traffic is expected to be impacted along major highways, with northern Colorado towns even more likely to experience bitter cold conditions.
