Tropical Depression Gordon continued to swirl in the Atlantic Ocean Tuesday morning after another disturbance slammed the Carolinas with flooding and strong winds, according to the National Hurricane Center in Miami.

As per the National Hurricane Center's 11 am Monday update, Tropical Depression Gordon is 985 miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands, with maximum sustained wind of 35 mph. It’s moving 7 mph to the west.
