Robotic dogs are patrolling President-elect Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida days after his election victory as the Republican has faced two assassination attempts and reports of an Iranian murder plot against him.

Robot dogs have been standing watch at President-elect Donald Trump ’s Mar-a-Lago home ever since he won the US election. A robotic guard was spotted on at least two occasions patrolling the outside of Trump’s resort, in a gesture of heightened security after he survived two assassination attempts.

There was a "heightened" security presence in at Mar-a-Lago, a luxury resort and Trump's "home base" in Palm Beach, Florida, following the victory, according to reporting by Reuters.
