Camilla’s health battle comes on the heels of a year full of medical woes for the royal family. In February, King Charles announced he was diagnosed with cancer, only to be followed by the Princess of Wales, aka Kate Middleton, sharing her own cancer diagnosis in March.

The 77-year-old royal admitted she was still “coughing” as she resumed her duties after canceling several appearances due to the illness.

King Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton stepped out together at the Festival of Remembrance on Nov. 10 and Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph war memorial on Nov. 11, staple events on the royal family's annual calendar to commemorate British and Commonwealth lives lost in war.
