Authorities have arrested over 40 people during a protest in central London. Demonstrators opposed the government's decision to classify the pro-Palestinian group Palestine Action as a terrorist organization.

Forty-two arrests have been made in London at a protest against Palestine Action being proscribed a terror group, the Metropolitan Police has said. The force said 41 arrests were made on suspicion of showing support for a proscribed organisation, with one person also arrested for common assault.

Over 70 individuals arrested across the UK in a second week of protests against the proscription of Palestine Action as a terrorist group.
