Having your first heartbreak is always so hard, but watching your kid have their first heartbreak? That’s also a tearful moment, and Halle Berry is revealing what it was like to see her daughter Nahla go through her first heartbreak recently.

Halle Berry recalled an unpleasant mother-daughter moment with 16-year-old Nahla while chatting exclusively with E! News at her “Never Let Go” premiere.

Halle Berry also shared that during Nahla's tough time, "a little part" of her was dying. She said, "But in this moment, it's the single most important thing to be rejected and have a breakup and she feels like she's dying. A little part of me is dying and I can't tell her that because she'll just say, 'Mom, you don't understand.'"

Regardless of the cause of the breakup, Berry knew she had to help pick up the pieces. And the best way to do so was to simply be there with Nahla. She has done the same when her 10-year-old son, Maceo, was upset.
