The old Mizzou was beckoning. For the first time all season, the Tigers were the ones showing mortality, making silly mistakes along the way. Untimely penalties, mental lapses and a stagnant aerial attack put Mizzou behind the eight ball early on.

There was some additional movement near the bottom of the poll with a few newcomers entering, including newly No. 24 ranked Boston College, as the Eagles prepare for their second ranked matchup of the season in Columbia. Their first was an upset win over then-No. 10 Florida State 28-13 in Tallahassee.
