The Red Sox have signed their first free agent to a major league contract. It’s the longest free-agent contract the Red Sox have signed since Trevor Story in 2022.

The Mets have "likely" added a fourth year to their offer to free-agent outfielder Kyle Tucker, per MLB Network Radio. Earlier this week, it was reported that the Mets had offered Tucker a three-year pact worth $50 million annually.

The Red Sox have made their first major splash following the departure of Alex Bregman. Boston has agreed to a deal with All-Star left-hander Ranger Suarez, The Post’s Jon Heyman first reported. The longtime Phillies pitcher’s deal is for five years and worth $130 million.
