Smashing the show’s own record from five years ago, the last ever episode of the hit British sitcom took the top spot on Christmas Day

The Finale' has broken the UK ratings for a scripted show for the BBC after the Christmas Day special with James Corden and Ruth Jones

Proving to be well worth the wait for its legion of fans, the network’s newly released ratings figures have revealed the series broke its 2019 record, picking up almost one million extra viewers since the last episode was released.
