In a pre-Season 2 update to the community, Activision and Treyarch revealed that 136,000 accounts have been banned for cheating. That number is up from the 19,000 accounts that were initially banned when ranked play launched.

There have been "over 136,000 Ranked Play account bans since the mode launched," according to a new blog post. Notably, these are indeed account bans - the devs say they're not ma
