Really nice small gardens, however poor value for money at $15 for 1 person compared to Naples Botanical gardens at $25. Full review by OnAir47568243627

Beautiful and tranquil tropical gardens in the middle of the city. Don't miss the birds and the flamingos. It's worth about an hour on a nice morning in St Petersburg. Full review by David W

We've been to many botanical gardens both in the US and other countries. But we were amazed at how extensive and appealing this place turned out to be. It's not the biggest but it's one of the best… Full review by Dennis F

I don’t believe so, I tried to post a link to the St. Pete site but it stopped me. I recommend googling and clicking the St Pete link. Also, check Groupon for a deal.

I thought they closed down . Cause I remember going there as kid . I loved the wax figures of Jesus life . That was my favorite part . But I remember them closing and getting rid of their figurines . When did they reopen?

It is just a flower & plant garden. I used to go there as a child also. Sunken Gardens never had statues of Jesus that I know of. Maybe you are thinking of someplace else.
Does anyone know how long it takes to see the whole garden? Also, what is the parking situation? Thanks in advance!

The Gardens shares a parking lot with a restaurant and a Children's Museum. The lot can get packed on weekends. Sometimes if you circle for awhile, someone will be leaving and a space will open. If not, there is parking across the street. There are many restaurants located on 4th Avenue. So, if you want to eat before or after, you have many choices. The Gardens take about 1 hour to go thru. The gift shop has many nice items to buy. Heads Up: They do close areas of the Gardens for Weddings. Also, check on Groupon for a discount.
