Well kept. Can get busy. Go there in the morning! There's ample seating/tables. There's also a Starbucks and an upscale Mall is walking distance from the Vessel. Full review by markmysteps

Otherwise, it can be hit or miss as to how crowded it is and whether you'll be able to get free tickets if you show up and use the kiosks at the Vessel. (The "Flexipass" is the one that costs $10, so if you are looking for free viewing--and no reason not to--then don't choose the Flexipass.)

You can reserve tickets for a time in advance but you have to do at least 2 weeks in advance. When we went 2 weeks ago, we got there around 3:30 in the afternoon on a Monday and used the kiosk. It shows the available times to enter. We had to wait until 5 so we visited the nearby mall and had drinks until then. Worth the wait. There seemed to be plenty of people milling around waiting for their time to arrive.
