When did this start charging? We live just outside Coventry and so don’t qualify for the free pass. We are devastated as we visited every year when free but it’s far outside what out family can afford at £14 a ticket.

I believe they only started charging late last year. As you said you if live within the Coventry City Council area and have a GoCv card it free.

Interesting you ask. Coventry is a dysfunctional city and I somehow manage to get a ticket on every visit despite having a blue badge. Road markings and signs are unclear, and …

Interesting you ask. Coventry is a dysfunctional city and I somehow manage to get a ticket on every visit despite having a blue badge. Road markings and signs are unclear, and even more of a challenge is the one way and bus only restrictions which can trap you and where cameras will cause the automated writing of tickets. Great museum, ass-hole of a town. And pathetic Labour council for decades. Good luck.

Hi there, I don't think there was overly, no, it was definitely a more "through the ages" type thing but no real focus on progressive transport. Hope that helps a little. Lucy
