It was an experience but the resort and surrounding areas did not suffer damage. Apparently low season and so beach not crowded and easy to get reservations. Full review by Flax2

Lido used to be a great family beach, or beach in general, and now it attracts some of the nastiest, rudest and sloppy people in Sarasota, hell anywhere since most of them are out of towners now. Likā¦ Full review by Terry G
Hi, I saw your review about Lido beach and you mentioned you stayed under the umbrella. Can you tell me if you rented the umbrella? we are flying and can't take one if you rented it, do they have them at the beach? thanks!

Yes! They have a rental guy by the north entrance. I think it is around $25 for the day. They also have chairs. Enjoy. Lido is amazing
